Ashton Jeanty Questionable for Raiders vs Patriots Game

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty is listed as questionable for the upcoming game against the New England Patriots due to an ankle and foot injury. Raiders coach Klint Kubiak reported Friday that Jeanty did not participate in the team’s final practice before their Sunday game. Jeanty’s attendance at practices has declined throughout the week, moving from full participation on Wednesday to being limited on Thursday and ultimately sitting out on Friday. The foot injury surfaced on Thursday’s practice report, though no details were given on how it occurred.

Jeanty has been battling an ankle injury since late August, but he has stated it has not affected his performance so far. Despite a strong start to the season, his productivity has slowed, culminating in a total of 162 yards over the past three games. Kubiak has prepared for the possibility that Jeanty might not play, indicating a potential greater role for rookie running back Mike Washington Jr., who would become the team’s lead back. Washington has accumulated 120 yards and scored the team’s only rushing touchdown this season.
